Praise and Testimonials
Every session left me feeling lighter and more confident!
An intentional mom of two very different very small children came in feeling overwhelmed, collapsing at the end of every day in self-recrimination. We identified that her creativity and her love of organization would be key to getting her the alone time that she needed to function well. With simple reflections from me and learning about what is appropriate for littles her confidence bloomed. She now tackles each new issue as it comes with a sense of optimism. 10 weekly sessions.
“Kathryn was wonderful at guiding me in the labyrinth that is parenting. Her kind words, support and positivity gave me the confidence to not only be an amazing mother but feel like one too.
She is amazing at pointing out my strengths and turning them into beneficial tools for our family. She celebrates with us as our family grows and I always feel I have her in my corner. Every session left me feeling lighter and more confident!
I will happily recommend her to anyone with little ones.”

I found the experience of working with Kathryn to be illuminating and life changing.
A wonderfully nurturing mom was longing for whole-family connection with her young adult sons. She found small shifts in her expectations and behaviors that led to what she longed for – harmonious family time full of gratitude. 10 sessions with multiple breaks for unexpected life interruptions.
“I found the experience of working with Kathryn to be illuminating and life changing in how I looked at parenting. I went into it thinking I would learn about being a better parent to my kids and instead I came out of it learning so much about being a truer version of myself. The weekly prompts were thought provoking and talking things through with Kathryn always helped me to look at things in a new perspective. She is a true gem and is called to do this work. You won't regret the investment in yourself and your family.”
--LL, with 2 young adult children
Kathryn helped me shift my perspective... it has allowed everyone in my family to feel closer to one another.
A calm and accepting mom of two very young children wanted tools to handle her rambunctious son and also to connect with him the way she naturally connects with her younger daughter. We identified her love of learning and her unconditional love of family as her allies in tackling this and other issues as she grew her family. By simply switching her mom-son time from reading books to child-directed pretend play she found that her son was much more regulated for transitions. By being open to try something new, she saw her son’s behaviors improve and his faith in their bond solidify. The growth in the family continued from there over the 10 weeks of coaching calls.
“Parent coaching with Kathryn exceeded every expectation that I had. She helped me identify things that I wanted to improve both in myself and my relationship with my kids and her supportive coaching helped me achieve everything that I wanted. Guiding me to find the tools that make me a better mom has brought my family together in a noticeable way. Getting things done as a family unit is considerably easier and my whole family is having more fun! Her ability to help me shift my perspective on my children and their individual needs has allowed everyone in my family to feel closer to one another. She really made me feel seen as a parent and a person. Every session we had together was one that I looked forward to, and every session left me feeling confident and re-energized. I can't recommend her enough.”

I became a calmer, more communicative, and loving parent.
An energetic mom wanted to look at her own role in her family dynamics. She knew instinctively that when she felt better, her family would function better. We found small actions that made a difference to her and watched her family life transform.
“It is an honor and a privilege to write a recommendation for Kathryn. I have worked with Kathryn for the last 5 months. During this time, my relationship with my kids and family has improved dramatically. I feel so much more peace at my house because of the coaching that Kathryn provided. Kathryn helped me identify that my physical environment played a large role in my happiness and satisfaction. Together we realized that the constant stimulus of noise and clutter dramatically impacted my ability to parent and left me feeling chaotic, which then caused stress within my family. Together we devised actions, and Kathryn always followed up with me to see how it went. That is just one example of the support that Kathryn provided me. I noticed when working with Kathryn that I became a calmer, more communicative, and loving parent. We looked at elements that I wanted to bring into my relationship with my kids and actively worked on cultivating those. I loved having another sounding board to talk to when issues arose. Kathryn was always willing to pivot to what I wanted to discuss, and I never felt like she had an agenda. I would 100% recommend parent coaching with Kathryn as she will use her empathetic listening, reflecting, and reframing coaching skills to help you learn and grow as a parent.”

About Kathryn
Kathryn brings her experience as a research scientist and the mom of three now-adult sons to her parent coaching sessions. She feels victorious in parenting when her children feel proud of themselves. Kathryn would rather have meaningful conversations about improving someone's life than just about anything else. She doesn't want you to parent more like her, she wants you to parent more like you. Kathryn loves all ages and stages of parenting: expecting, newborns, toddlers, school age, teens, college-ready, launched, returned, and full-adult children.
